More chance to get anything for any country.  A) Brands will make more money B) Cheaper for us. II. Languages A) More job opportunities B) Get to learn more languages. III. More options in any situation. (help from other countries) A) The independence of some countries B) More support in dangerous situations such as diplomatic problems, coups, etc.

PRACTICE 15: FUNNEL AND DESCRIPTIVE LEADS

Brainstorming 1. It can be exhausting for them, being in class all day. 2. Maybe it not going to help them in the future (a subject) 3. Not sports, so maybe no motivation to go to school. 4. The day shouldn't be longer 5. School days should not be longer because they are going to be exhausted, they will not have motivation, they are wasting time in some subject that they are not going to need in their future. Your introductory paragraph goes on the lines below: It is being considered that students spend more time in the classroom, but is this the best for them? If they spend all their morning in class, their motivation will go down, and if on top of that this action causes their extra-school activities, such as sports, to be eliminated, they will make their desire to go to school disappear; also they will be too tired that the last thing they will do will be to study.

PRACTICE 16: COHESION AND STYLE

YOUR FIRST DAY IN THE US

If it were my first day in the United States of America, the first state I would like to visit would be New York. What I like about it, it's the lifestyle, it's like a movie, I mean, I think it would feel so unreal and overwhelming. The empire state, Central Park, The statue of liberty, I have seen these places so many times on the big screen, that being able to see it in person will be a life-changing experience in my opinion. The first thing that I would visit if I ever get the chance, will be Times Square. Because I want to know the feeling you get with all those screens and colours. Also, I would love to visit the Hotel Plaza, and the main reason is that one of my favourite movies was filmed there and because it's very iconic too. But my biggest dream is to experience winter in New York, it's just like, winter IS New York. It's complicated to explain, but I think that these are things that always go together. (24 minutes)

A FAVOURITE POSSESION

I don't consider myself a very materialistic person, but my closet is my most precious possession. My wardrobe is something in which I have invested money and time, it has been difficult for me to find my style and now that I am less happy with it, I would not like to lose it. I know it may sound very pathetic, but it's not like I have something of so much value that could compete with my clothes. I mean, my mobile, if I lose it I can buy another one, this also happens with my computer. And it is not that I have something of some family inheritance, or heirloom, for which I only have that. But the funny thing is that I have a lot of pants, hoodies, t-shirts etc but I always ended up wearing the same 5 things hahaha. (20 minutes)

MUSIC THAT IS SPECIAL TO YOU

I love love music. For me, it is the best thing in the world, it can make you feel better and can take you back to when you were young. My 15 minutes on the bus alone, listening to music are the best thing of my day, and the day I forget my headphones, that day is immediately grey. One artist I'm obsessed with lately is ROJUU; he is quite different from what I usually like, like rap or trap in English. His songs are in Spanish and it's a softer, indie vibe, and I'm super happy because I'm going to go to his concert in Murcia in February with a friend. For me, music is the language of the soul. (15 minutes)

SMOKING IN PUBLIC PLACES

I agree with the fact of smoking, but not when it is a public space and above all closed. There are children, pregnant women, or it can be annoying for some people. That is why the spaces reserved for smokers are the perfect solution, even in some countries, if you want to smoke outside the home, you must do so in the spaces reserved for them. For example, in South Korea, they have a kind of large, transparent room with ventilation in which people can go in to smoke. It is a fact that smoking is bad for your health, but since everyone can do what they want, it is better to do it without harming more people. (13 minutes)
